With a flair for entertainment, the Lonestar Bluegrass Band has charmed audiences since 1982 with their traditional and contemporary bluegrass tunes. For the second year in a row, the Lonestar Bluegrass Band has won the Houston Press Music Award, Best Bluegrass Band.

And that’s not the only glory this band has earned! Banjo player, Chris Hirsch, has won an unprecedented third Texas State Banjo Championship.
